Gratitude

In a world full of opportunities to improve, trials, countermeasures solutions and yes, waste, we all have much to be grateful for.  Whatever position you are in, whatever place you are at, gratitude can be a powerful tool if harnessed and used regularly.  Studies all around the world have shared the benefits of gratitude in the workplace, homes and in daily practice.  In this, the spirit of gratitude and before you share in the comments section below what you are grateful for, we would like to say, thank you.  Thank you to each of you who work your hardest everyday.  Thank you, to each of you who come home happy and ready to serve those you love.  Thank you, to each of you who have indeed IMPROVED the world through gratitude.
As noted above, studies have shown time and time again how gratitude can benefit people.  Here are 5 different ways that you can show gratitude:
  1. Congratulate people regularly - look for ways to say, way to go or even a simple good job.
  2. Create a "hub" - Gratitude is a powerful influence.  It can be even more powerful when it is shared.  Create a centralized location where everyone can go and share what they are grateful for.  You could use: social media, website or even a whiteboard.
  3. Say thank you, always - No matter how big or small the favor task or action is, always say thank you.  This simple act has been shown to improve relationships, offices, communities and homes.
  4. Appreciate gratitude - When people say thank you or show some form of gratitude towards you, smile and receive the gratitude with joy.  This invites people informally to show more gratitude.
  5. Volunteer and serve - spend a little time each day doing something good for someone else.  As you see the joy this creates, you will want to do more.
These 5 suggestions are only a few suggestions of how we can share and improve with gratitude.  With that in mind we invite your to complete the challenge below and begin IMPROVING with gratitude today.
