Have you ever wondered, what does it mean actual finish date? The actual finish date is the point in time that an activity, work or the project was actually completed. Many project management professionals will record this time so that they can track progress against the baselined project plan and identify opportunities to improve, gaps or abnormal situations. Many of the modern day scheduling software systems can help project management professionals and will even calculate the effects of the actual finish dates on the rest of the project tasks.
